ceremony and ritual as manifestation tools

Many pagan cultures use rituals and ceremony to manifest their desires. They have full moon rituals, rites of passage, solstice ceremonies and eclipse rituals.. Much like divination tools are helpful for enhancing psychic abilities, they are not necessary to have a direct line with spirit, but definitely helpful. The same goes for rituals and ceremonies.

Everything is energy, energy becomes emotions, emotions become thoughts, thoughts become things. Everything is about the intention that’s behind it.

This recent full wolf moon, which was a supermoon and lunar eclipse had very potent astrological energy behind it. Full moon energy is something comparable to energy being kicked up a notch. Whatever is playing out in your life, it will be magnified and it will be in your face.

Family dynamics, karmic patterns, fears, they will show up and be in your face. Eclipse energy in general is a great energy to shed old layers. I remember the solar eclipse from 2017, it was the beginning of the peeling of an entire old layer that started to happen for me. Lunar eclipses are more subtle, but not less powerful. It’s a great time to set intentions and repeat manifestations while setting the intention using this energy. The thing is, it can look any way you want it to look. No one ceremony or ritual is “the right one”. It’s all about what personally feels right to you.

When I was growing up I was very much into paganism and ancient practices and I would study them and read about them to “get it right”. I dove into Wicca for a while when I was a teenager, but after learning about the Law Of Attraction and manifestation I soon realized that all that was, was a materialization of applying the Law Of Attraction. You just make it visible, tangible, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be exactly like it’s described in the book of shadows, or whatever book you follow. Make your own book, make your own rituals. They can be as simple as pulling a card from an oracle deck you have laying around on a full moon and just closing your eyes and thinking about it. It can be burning sage and just focusing on cleansing whatever needs to be cleansed, it can be burning affirmations written down on paper and using the fire energy to work with the lunar energy to help manifest your desires. It can be nothing at all.. it can be you sitting in meditation on your couch focusing and visualizing.

It’s truly all about intention. And being consistent. You will gain much more out of life if you listen to affirmations daily while walking your dog or doing the dishes, than doing some elaborate ceremony once or twice a year with chanting and burning sage and drumming and an hour long deep trance meditation, and having no other spiritual practice at all for the rest of the year. Of course you can do both, but you get the point. Sometimes less is more.

I did a quick 15 minute meditation guided by Jemese Lachel who is a spiritual mentor & psychic healer. She’s very down to earth and her simple yet impactful meditations are a great example of how you can just do what feels right for you, in meditation and ceremony. We often also draw inspiration from soul-memory. Your soul remembers practices and rituals from past lives that work well with your own personal energy. Some people have a great response to burning palo santo, while others such as myself have a very strong response energetically to burning sage. I know people who have no reaction or feelings at all to burning either. But they have their own things that work for them, that their soul remembers and responds to, such as working with specific crystals or deities. Find what works for you and use it!

Happy full wolf moon/eclipse day! The energies are around for about 3 days so set the intention, and do what feels right for you!
